Addressing legal barriers to fast-track the HIV and TB response in Africa

Six years after the first Africa Regional Dialogue on HIV and the Law and five years since the report of the Global Commission on HIV and the Law was released, over 140 advocates are gathering this week in Johannesburg, South Africa, to take stock of progress on the implementation of the Commission’s recommendations and discuss how to overcome challenges that remain in the HIV and tuberculosis (TB) response.
