COVID-19 Response

Overview

UNDP is working with the African Union and the Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) in its overall response to COVID-19 to support the AU and  Regional Economic Communities (RECs) in implementing activities across five programmatic strands: regional coordination and operational support, capacity building through knowledge sharing and a virtual academy on response-to-recovery, public communications campaigns on COVID-19, peace, security and socioeconomic impact assessments, and preparedness and response in cross-border areas.
