The Peace Support capacity building project aims to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of local and international peacekeeping practitioners, thereby contributing to successful peace support operations in Africa.

Livelihood recovery and peace building support for communities affected by COVID-19, desert locusts, floods and conflict in Oromia and SNNP Regions 

The main objective of the project is to strengthen the capacities of the affected communities to rebuild their resilience and livelihood recovery, benefit from improved resilient livelihood opportunities, live in a peaceful environment, and to contribute their voices in improving local governance systems and all democratic processes. The project is also expected to prevent the social and regional unrest, which would be worsened by COVID-19 pandemic, desert locust infestation, flooding and conflict among ethnic groups in the area.
