Support for social stability and security of conflict-affected communities in North-East and Middle Belt of Nigeria 

The proposed project aims to support the social stability and counter terrorism of the conflict- affected communities in the North-East and Middle Belt of Nigeria. It will adopt the integrated community peacebuilding and recovery approach to provide the selected target communities with a package of multiple supports in four inter-related areas. The project will target the six states that are most heavily affected by conflict: Adamawa, Borno, Yobe in the North East, and Taraba, Nasarawa, and Benue in the Middle Belt.

Support for the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre 

The project aims to build the capacity of MLAILPKC to research into the root causes of maritime insecurity in the Gulf of Guinea, make recommendations on appropriate responses; design appropriate plans and strategies to curb the menace; build MLAILPKC capacity on counter-piracy and facilitation; develop curriculum on counter-piracy; and run courses on anti-piracy programme.
